When evaluating serum testosterone reference ranges, it's important to note that the "normal" is not adjusted for age or size of individual. This means that men ranging from 18 to 80 years old and with different body sizes are grouped together, resulting in a wide spectrum of 300-1100 being considered "normal." Numerous studies have shown that testosterone levels should not significantly decline merely due to aging. Therefore, for men experiencing symptoms of Low-Testosterone and having what some may consider "borderline levels," treatment with testosterone is often supported and recommended from a clinical standpoint.
At Cascades Hormone Optimization, we take into account the individual's symptoms and objective biomarkers to provide the most appropriate and tailored treatment options for men with Low-Testosterone symptoms. Your well-being and quality of life are our main priority, and we strive to ensure that you receive the personalized care you deserve.

Men that are hypogonadal or with andropause are suffering a chronic condition. These conditions are longstanding and require testosterone replacement therapy to correct. Similar to individuals with diabetes that require insulin and those with hypothyroidism that need thyroid replacement, individuals with hypogonadism require long-term testosterone replacement to reach their best physical and mental state. The replacement of the deficient testosterone ensures that they can maintain their well-being and achieve an improved quality of life indefinitely.
At Cascades Hormone Optimization, we understand the impact of hypogonadism on men's health and want to provide a comprehensive and personalized treatment options. We our committed to addressing your symptoms and developing a tailored approach to help you optimize your overall health and well-being

Like with any medical treatment, TRT carries some risks. These risks, when managed by experienced professionals are minimized. We closely monitor your hormone levels and other health markers throughout the treatment to ensure safety and effectiveness. Testosterone replacement is an overall health promoting therapy.
-
It is recommended that you start TRT as soon as possible after discovering you have low testosterone levels. Provided you don’t have any underlying health conditions and are not a high risk for heart disease, you can get started right away.
-
TRT is safe for long-term use when monitored appropriately. Many men stay on TRT indefinitely to maintain their quality of life, as testosterone levels naturally decline with age. Regular follow-ups, blood tests, and adjustments ensure that the therapy remains effective and minimizes potential risks. At Cascades Hormone Optimization, we prioritize your safety and health, providing ongoing support throughout your TRT journey.
